Chargee is the operator of the Chargee mobile application and related services available at https://user.chargee.ph. For this reason, Chargee acts as the Personal Information Controller and is responsible for the collection, processing, and use of your personal data in accordance with the Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines. The protection of your personal data is of particular importance to Chargee.
This Privacy Policy informs you of the personal data we collect through the Chargee application and related services, how we use and process it, and how you may exercise your rights as a data subject. Please note that this Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
We recommend that you review this Privacy Policy regularly to ensure that you are always aware of the most recent version.
When you use the Chargee application, certain data may be collected automatically for system administration, statistical, security, and service delivery purposes. This may include device information, log data, location information (where permitted), and usage data related to your use of shared power bank rental services.
When you register as a user and provide your information in the application, you agree that your data will be used in connection with the services offered, including account management, rental transactions, payment processing, customer support, and service improvement.
We process personal data only for legitimate and declared purposes, in a manner that is compatible with such purposes, and in accordance with the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality under Philippine data privacy law.
In some cases, collected data may be aggregated or anonymized for statistical or analytical purposes. Where data is anonymized, it is no longer treated as personal data.

Right to damages — to be indemnified for any damages sustained due to inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained, or unauthorized use of personal data.
Right to file a complaint — to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if you believe your data privacy rights have been violated.
To exercise any of the above rights, please send us a request by e-mail to Office@chargee.ph, accompanied by information reasonably sufficient to verify your identity. You may also withdraw your consent to the future use or processing of your personal data at any time, subject to applicable legal and contractual restrictions.
Personal data that is no longer necessary to achieve the stated purpose will be disposed of or anonymized in a secure manner.
Regarding deletion or blocking requests, please note that we are subject to legal and regulatory provisions that require certain data to be retained for a specified period. If you request deletion of data subject to such retention obligations, we will restrict further processing of that data and use it only as required by law until the retention period expires, after which it will be deleted in accordance with your request.
We implement reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical, and technical security measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, or any other unauthorized processing, in accordance with the requirements of the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Our employees and contractual partners who have access to your data are bound by confidentiality obligations and must comply with applicable data protection laws and internal security policies.
